/ Sculpture Road
Sculpture Road
The Sculpture Road is decorated with around 150 fun sculptures, and is made with the works of the stone sculptor Suzuki Masao so that residents can live here with affection and pride.
There are 3 courses, the 1st is a road leading from Nissei Chuo Station passing through Matsuodai to Inagawa Town Office. The 2nd starts from a point around 5 minutes north-west from Nissei Chuo Station and extends towards Fushimiike Park. The 3rd is a road from Ginzan Kokaido to Kanayamahiko Shrine.
The humorous expressions of the Rakan statues and female nudes create an appealing landscape in Inagawa, whether they have the green rice fields in the background or are spotted amongst rows of houses. There is also the Sculpture Road Marathon held in the town which is enjoyed by the local people.
