Byobu Rocks
屏風岩
A boulder wall that is 30 meters high and 100 meters wide in a clear stream in Inagawa Keikoku Nature Park. These rare stones got there name because they stand together to create a landscape like a folding screen (byobu).
The light-up after sunset conjures up a fantastical landscape. The area around the Byobu Rocks is covered in plentiful greenery, and with cherry blossoms in spring, fireflies in summer, red leaves in autumn and snow in winter, you can see the appearances of all four seasons. The clear stream of Inagawa River quietly flows as if to symbolize the culture that is in harmony with the nature of the town.
