Aino Hydrangea Garden
Aino Hydrangea Garden gathered the best quality varieties from around the nation and opened in 1985. Hydrangea flowers from 20,000 plants of 100 species come into bloom during the season from the start of June to the middle of July, with the flower garden spreading across the quiet mountain village of Aino.
You can also enjoy ‘Shiitake Gathering and Barbecue’ at the Shiitake Land within the garden, where you can experience gathering shiitake mushrooms that have fully benefited from the surrounding nature, and also taste specialty meats from Sanda. (Reservation Required)
There is also a Potato Digging Experience (September to October) and facilities such as the Insect Specimen Hall that gathers specimens of insects from around the world, as well as a Pottery Experience Class, making for an enjoyable day for families or groups.
