Founded in 1688 in Itami, the birthplace of refined sake, Oimatsu is highly regarded as the producer of the Edo Shogunate’s official sake, “Gomen-shu,” and continues the tradition to this day of being the sake produced specifically for the Shogun (Gozen-shu).
The special honjozo sake Itamigo is a refreshing, easy-drinking, light and dry sake blended with 20% daiginjo sake. Whether warmed or chilled, the sake can be enjoyed in a variety of ways—there is never a dull moment.
