Museum of Nature and Human Activities, Hyogo
A museum with the theme of the “cohabitation of humans and nature” There are over 1 million archived materials, with a section of these exhibited permanently under 5 major themes such as The Natural History of Hyogo and Humans and Nature. Other than exhibitions, there is a corner where you can use your hands to touch and hold specimens such as fossils, and an information terminal corner where you can view information about the natural environment in Hyogo Prefecture and picture books. There are also seminars and events by researchers held daily.
 In addition to being able to see the fossils of a giant herbivorous dinosaur discovered in Tamba City as well as fossils of smalls animals and the teeth of dinosaurs (theropods, ornithopods) found at the same time, there is also a facility called Hitohaku Dinosaur Lab for seeing the process of cleaning dinosaur fossils up close.
