/ Kiyoshikojin Seicho-ji Temple- Kiyoshikojin Seicho-ji Temple
- An ancient Shingon temple built in 896 by order of Emperor Uda. Because the Emperor named it "Japan's first Kiyoshikojin," it is affectionately known as Kojin-san, and holds the spirits of the deities of the kitchen and fire. On the temple grounds are many structures stocking fire tongs.
Visitors will also find the Museum of History and Art as well as the Tessai Museum, a gallery of pieces by the 19th-century artist.
What's more, the road leading to the temple has over 100 small restaurants and omiyage shops, recreating the atmosphere of an old-fashioned temple town.
