Susanoo Shrine
This is an excellent example of early Edo-period shrine architecture, and the main shrine and multiple joint shrines are prefecture-designated Important Tangible Cultural Properties. Having experienced multiple instances of damage from the Mukogawa River, villagers enshrined Susanoo-no-Mikoto (Shinto god of sea and storms) as a local deity, leading to their relationship with the god and the shrine.
