/ Hazuhachiman Shrine

: This temple, dedicated to Emperor Ojin, looks out over the picturesque scenery of the Sengari pond. The main shrine is a nationally designated Important Cultural Property estimated to have been built in 1403. It is a large-scale example of three-windowed nagare-zukuri roofing, and is considered the oldest such structure with open gables on both sides.
The stele, gorinto pagoda, hokyointo pagoda and other sunken structures from the Konpuku-ji Temple are also prefecture-designated Important Cultural Properties, and highly regarded as treasured works of stone art.
