This product was created in the hope of spreading awareness about “Asadori no Megumi” (Bounty of Morning Harvest) figs, a well-known specialty of Kawanishi. We formed a partnership with Furukawa Farm, a fig farm in Kawanishi City. With liberal use of almond powder and cognac, the figs are left to cure for a month until the brandy becomes mellow. A cut above the rest, this cake pairs well with coffee or tea, bringing out the sweetness of the figs and the aroma of the brandy.
