With thatched roofing and an all cypress main building with 4 warehouses, the Former Tomita Residence is a model of a wealthy farmer’s estate that the town has recreated as a cultural facility. Furniture and tools that communicate the appearance of the era have been left in the interior. The Japanese-style room and tea room are used as cultural activity spaces.
