1.The Mukogawa Sakura Corridor
Part of the “Furusato Sakura Zutsumi Corridor,” this 170km-long river joining the Seto Inland Sea to the Sea of Japan is lined with about 50,000 cherry trees. When sakura reach full bloom, the banks of the Mukogawa River, lined with around 5,000 trees, are alive with people taking a stroll or enjoying a picnic under branches bursting with blossoms.
At night, about 180 Bonbori lanterns are lit, illuminating a 500m-row of cherry blossom trees in an enchanting evening event.
(Scheduled from April 1 to April 7 this year. *The schedule may change depending on when the cherry blossoms bloom. Take measures against infectious diseases, avoid lingering in crowds, and enjoy the cherry blossoms.)

2.Tenjin Park
The countless trees of Tenjin Park, named one of the Eight Best Landscapes of Sanda, makes it a fantastic place to savor the sakura season.
The lawn is filled with people who spread their picnic blankets on the green grass to admire the floral fantasia. Located on a slightly elevated ground, it offers a beautiful view of the city of Sanda.

3.Takahira
A row of cherry blossom trees stretches along Prefectural Road 37 in the eastern part of Sanda City, an ideal destination for a spring drive. The Takahira district is a peaceful, natural area surrounded by mountains, fields and rivers.

4.Around Hirono Station
As you step off the train at JR Hirono Station, you are greeted by rows of cherry blossoms fanning out along the Mukogawa River. A popular place with those in the know as a spot to take pictures with cherry blossoms and trains as your backdrop.

5.Around Namitabashi
A cherry blossom spot near Namitabashi, famous for its weeping cherry blossoms. Come visit when they are in full bloom and feel the power and beauty of this special species.
